Gimeno – Traver is looking slowly but surely getting his form back. He has great forehand and can hit a lot of winners from it. His backhand is his weak spot but against the No353 in the world it may not be a huge problem. This will be first match between them. Coria is playing mostly on Futures level and I doubted that he could trouble the experienced Spaniard.

Tip Preview:
This is match from the first round of the Como Challenger. Donati has big talent but he simply failed to evolve it. He played two finals on Challenger events already this year but still has 19/15 w/l record. This will be first match between them. Dutra Silva is a pusher and very experienced competitor. He has solid record of 26/18 w/l on clay and I think he will take this one.

Tip Preview:
This is clash between two ball bashers. The bookies are giving huge advantage to Johnson but I am far from agreed with them. Istomin won the only previous match between them and he is coming after he won the Asian games. Johnson lost the final on Winston Salem pretty straight forward and I doubted that he will be in mood. I think Istomin will win a set minimum here.

Tip Preview:
Kudla will play in his homeland but I do not think that will help him. He has powerful shots from the bas line and good first serve. Same goes for Berrettini with the difference that he is more resistant in the longer rallies. In the H2H the result is 1-1 but Berrettini won the last meeting quite easily. The Italian won his maiden ATP title in Gstaad and will play with high morale. In best out of five I think the more consist Italian has an edge and will win this one.

Tip Preview:
Coric is one of the players that are playing strong against the top players but performed poor against the lower ranked opponents like Mayer. The German can frustrate his opponent by the strange choice of shots and no matter of his poor record this year he can play one strong set against the Croatian. Mayer has nothing to lose and with the pressure all over Coric I back the German to win a set.

Tip Preview:
In this one the Swedish is looking pure value. Caruso is not that dangerous on hard courts and he knows it. Even on the favorite clay of Caruso Eriksson has beaten him before and he leads 2-0 in the H2H. Eriksson handled well in two matches in the qualifications and handled well with the big serving Galovic in the first round. I think Eriksson will make them three in a row.

Tip Preview:
I am far from agree with this odd. Ofner is player with great talent and last year he managed to reach the semifinals in Kitzbuhel lst year. He has some ups and downs in the form but he just won the Astana Challenger and beat S.Bolelli. Krawietz has never been ranked in the first 270 he won three matches in the qualifications and one in the main draw. He is not an easy opponent but simply the abilities of Ofner are superior and I think the Austrian will win this one.

Tip Preview:
Yesterday Ymer got pretty luck as he come back from a set and a break down to Molleker. Zopp also struggled but against in form P.Cachin. Ymer has excellent footwork but often lack in consistence. In the H2H Zopp is leading with 2-0 with both matches on clay. Zopp is very powerful player and he is in excellent form as he reached the semifinal in Gstaad. My call is win for Zopp.

Tip Preview:
I could not resist to this bet. Hanfmann is in excellent form with 8/2 w/l in the last ten matches. He won the Brauschweig Challenger but lost in the first round of his last two tournaments. This will be the first match between them. Sousa in the same time reached the final on the Liberec Challenger. He can play really outstanding tennis on clay and no matter that he played the final on Sunday I think he is ready for this challenge. My call is Sousa to take set.

Tip Preview:
In this all Belgian clash I give edge to Coppejans. De Greef is good on clay but he is a pusher and likes the long and exhausting rallies. He counts mostly on the mistakes of his opponents and rarely hits a winner. May be that is why he is trailing with 0-3 in the H2H. Coppejans is struggling with his game but he is 8/2 w/l in the last ten matches and he is a hitter. I think Coppejans will take this match.

Tip Preview:
Thiem has been struggling lately with his game. After the great regular season on clay he lost two out of three on grass and has been well beaten from N.Jarry in Hamburg. In the H2H Klizan is leading with 2-1 and he has beaten on clay here the Austrian. Klizan is one tough nut to be cracked when his game is on. He is lefty with great serve and forehand and in the first match of Thiem I think Klizan will win a set.

Tip Preview:
I think here the Uzbek is slightly underrated from the bookmakers. He is leading with 6-2 in the H2H and won three matches here already. He is powerful player and his straightforward style could be hard to stop. The German is very good on clay and has all of the shots. The problems with him is that he is a veteran and that matters. I think Istomin will win a set.

Tip Preview:
Djere is in excellent form. He managed to reach the quarter finals in Umag, won the Challenger in Milano and reached the final on the Prostejov Challenger. He has good serve and strong shots from the base line. Daniel is also in good form and he like the clays also. He won ATP Istanbul but afterwards his performance is shaky if we exclude the final on the Poznan Challenger. I think Djere will take this one.

Tip Preview:
Van Rijthiven is definitely making statement and in his last ten matches he has lost just once. Still the 21 years old Dutch has never been ranked in the first 290 and facing crafty player on the clay like Clezar I think will be too much for him. Clezar is powerful player who likes to stay on the base line and he is equally good from both sides. He is also in goof form with quarter final and semifinal in his last two clay court tournaments. I think Clezar will take this match.

Tip Preview:
Zekic is the player who has dropped down the level a little bit and now he is playing mostly on Futures level. He is a pusher and counts mostly on the mistakes that his opponents are making. Still in the H2H the result is 2-0 for Zekic. Gaio is more aggressive player but not that significantly better overall. He did not drop a set only in three of his last ten matches and my call is Zekic to win.

Tip Preview:
Coric is an enigma. He can play outstanding tennis and if he is playing on 50% of his abilities he should have no problems in this match. On the other hand his motivation is always questionable and especially against lower ranked opponent like Djere he can experience some problems. This will be the first match of Coric since Wimbledon and I back Djere to steal a set.

Tip Preview:
Basilashvili is a player who counts on the power of his shots and when his game is one he can be a real tough nut to be cracked for almost anyone. In the H2H the result is 1-1 but Basilashvili won the most recent match which was on clay. Cuevas is clay court specialist but he lost three from his last five matches and he is struggling to find his form. I think we will see tight match and Basilashvili will take a set minimum.

Tip Preview:
Vesely is lefty with great first serve and nice forehand. He played very well on the grass and ended with 6/2 w/l record. On the other hand he is 10/9 w/l on clay and most of his success is on the Challenger tour. In the H2H the result is 1-1 with the win for the Italian on clay. Cecchinato won his maiden ATP title and reached the semifinals on the French open. Now Cecchinato has matured and I think he will win this one.

Tip Preview:
Lajovic improved a lot by one time but failed to upgrade on that. He lost three from his last five matches and I doubted that he will have easy times in this one. Basilashvili is leading with 3-0 in the H2H. The Gerogian is ball basher and when his game is one he is hard to be stopped. I think Basilashvili will win a set at least.

Tip Preview:
Grannolers – Pujols is player who has been playing well on Challenger level this year but far away from his best. He is coming on the back of semifinal on the Winnipeg Challenger but switching surfaces could be tricky. This will be first match between them. Aragone is nothing special but he will play at home and he is on the top of his ranking. I think the American will win a set.
