Duckworth is very dangerous opponent and he can beat almost anyone if he has a day. His serve is good and he often uses kick serve and finish off the point near the net. Still the Austrlina is very moderate mentally and often is put himself in problems against a lot weaker opponents than Donaldson. The American is still a teenager and he is one of the biggest hopes of USA to return the glory days. He has powerful serve and his forehand is very dangerous. I think here the winner will be determined from the mood of Duckworth and as this is match from the qualifications I expect the crowd to lift his countryman and Donaldson to win the match(the entry is free for the qualifying session).

This is match from the first round of the qualifications. Gimeno-Traver usually got ranking and he is playing in the main scheme, but now he will have to work a lot to get there. He is clay court specialist, but his good footwork and powerful forehand allowed him to be competitive on hard courts too. Young is nothing special and he is playing here like an alternative after a lot of withdraws Jung is typical ball basher with good serve and if he is wise enough to push the backhand of GImeno Traver he can push him enough to win a set. After all Jung is local player and he is used with the fast hard courts. The odd is good and I take it.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The date and start time are still to be determined.
This is match from te hfirts round. Souza is definitely playing the tennis of his life. He has strong serve and very powerful shots from both forehand and backhand. On the other hand if he does not take the initiative in the longer rallies he is pretty vulnerable and he can be forced to make mistakes. Samper-Montana is typical clay court player, not strong hitting like Souza. Samper-Montana is ranked way below Souza and in my opinion this is giving him slight edge. In the last few weeks Souza has played on ATP level and he did it pretty successful. Now he is back on the Challenger and in my opinion he will not feel so comfortable, especially against player who is leading with 2-1 against him and more important the last win was this year in Bucaramanga. I think here a bet with lose stake is a must.

In this tie between Canada and Japan most likely the home side will triumph. Nishikori once again is pushed for the wall, but this is something common for the Japanese No1. Nishikori is in excellent form this year with record 16/4 w/l with quarter final on the Australian open, title in Memphis and final in Acapulco. On of the losses was from Raonic, but that was only the second win of Raonic from six played versus the Japanese and the previous one was on the grass, where the huge serve of Raonic really matters. The Canadian is in good from, but showed some hesitations. In his matches on indoors courts this year he dropped a set versus modest players like S.Stakhovsky and An.Kuznetsov and he lost to S.Bolelli(first win for the Italian versus top 10 players from 37 attempts LOL). In my opinion here the Japanese will play his solid game and the big serve of Raonic may win him a set, but at the end Nishikori will win.

This will be decisive fifth rubber of the tie. I must say that Bellucci is the more talented player. He is more aggressive with excellent serve and footwork on the clay. Last year no matter of his modest form he managed to win both rubbers versus Spain and promote Brazil in the World group, but the match was in Brazil. In the moment Bellucci is in doubtful form. He is 3/7 w/l so far this year and he beta only out of form veteran A.Montanes, out of form H.Zeballos and modest G.Lapentti. Berlocq is a player who charges a lot from the crowd and he is very nasty opponent, because he is a pusher and he grunts a lot. Bellucci is hard to be stopped when in form, but his problem is that he does not have back up plan and he stays aggressive all the time. Berlocq is very good in keeping the ball in play and will force a lot of errors from the Brazilian’s racket. Berlocq is 67-37 w/l against lefties and four of the matches were Nadal, two of them versus F.Lopez. In my opinion this match will be close, but the more consist Berlocq in from of the exited crowd will win and cover the handicap.

This is match from the first round of the Davis cup. This second rubber between Vesely and Tomic will be crucial. The outcome of the first clash between Rosol and Kokkinakis will matters, because if Rosol win than the pressure over Tomic will be huger and this bet will have tremendous value. On indoors Tomic is not quite reliable and more important the surface is rated as Medium slow which will be advantage for Vesely. The Australian is with record 18/22 w/l on hard courts indoors and often he losses his focus. Vesely is not that good either with record 19/21 w/l on indoors hard courts, but he is playing at home and the Czech won his first ATP title this year. In the last ten matches of Vesely only once he does not won a set at least and I think here he will win at least two sets.

This is one of the decisive clashes for determine the winner in the tie between USA and Great Britain, held in Isner is in modest form and usually with no doubts I would go against him, but still Ward is far from trustable. The American is 6/7 w/l this season and he is in questionable form. Even his serve is not saving him anymore. Ward in the same time for player ranked on the 111th spot is in good form. He is 5/5 w/l in the last ten matches and if we exclude the loss from Huta-Galung and Milman in the beginning of January after that he los from F.Verdasco, A.Seppi and F.Lopez. Moreover this year Ward beat J.Isner on the Kooyong – exhibition. The thing is that other than home advantage I do not see any clear reason for the good odd here. Kukushkin lost his last four matches and retired in the last one. Bolelli in the same time won all of the previous matches against Kukushkin. The Italian is in form and had beaten Raonic is Marseille and in his last match against Berdyh lost in three sets. This is match from the second round. Schiavone is former Roland Garros Champion. She is very experienced with good serve and she mixes her game with slice shots. In the same time in my opinion the Italian is past her best years and in spite of the quarter final in Antwerp she is unreliable. Garcia is great talent on 23 years old. After the loss from Errani for Davis cup she is 7/2 w/l and more important reached the final in Acapulco last week. Her footwork is excellent and her backhand is superb. Both have one previous meeting in Paris 2013 and Garcia won with 7-6;6-2. Here we may see close match, but the French is looking solid favorite and I will follow her good form.

This is match from the first round. De Schepper is tall and very powerful lefty. His game is based on his huge first serve and powerful forehand, with which he can hit winners from any side of the court. Couple of year ago De Schepepr was one of the most reliable player on indoors courts due his weapons and including the good game near the net. In the moment he is good enough on indoors hard courts, but his determination is far from desired. Kovalik looks like a total underdog, but the Slovakian slowly but surely is moving up in the rankings. He is clay courts specialist, but with strong shots. He lost eight of his last ten matches, but he is not that bad and sooner or later will improve. He is in the position of a total underdog and in the position of total favorite De Schepper is looking vulnerable. This is match from the last round of qualifications of WTA Monterey. I really like the game of the little sister Radwanska. She is a pusher and a fighter, but also in the same time she can go for the winner. She is hard courts specialist. In the moment she is in more than questionable shape. She started strong with quarter final in Auckland after qualifications and lost in the first round of the Australian open, after winning three in the qualifications, but that was in January and since the beginning of February Radwanska is just 3/2 w/l, but she was in the position of completely favorites in all of the wins and if she was an outsider against M.Sharapova than against L.Chirico in Acapulco Radwanska was favorite, but was trashed with 6-1;6-0 after won the first set 7-6. Hogenkamp is younger and for her level she is in outstanding form. She is on her top ranking and it is due her perfect form. She is 11/4 w/l. In her last ten matches she lots just to P.Kvitova and in Acapulco she may lost in the first round, but did it against the champion T.Bacsinszky with 2-6;6-2;6-3 and Hogenkamp was the only one to win a set against the Swiss. This is the final match from ATP Acapulco. Well I have some hesitation for this one because both players were far from impressive in semifinals. Nishikori did not win over Anderson, Anderson lost from Nishikori. The South African was just turned the tide in the third set after leading with a break, but allowed broke back immediately. Eventually Nishikor prevailed. The match of Ferrer was even bizarre. He lost the first set to R.Harrison and after that he put double bagel to the American. Both players have similar games style but the Nishikori’s early contact with the ball after the bounce is giving him significant advantage on the hard courts. Nishikori is simply better than Ferrer by playing the Ferrer game. The Japanese is leading with 7-3 in the H2H and won the last five matches against Ferrer, including one on clay, which speaks enough. Moreover Nishikori on this year’s Australian open beat Ferrer 6-3;6-3;6-3 and I think he will win this one too.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The start time is not determined yet. We must follow the good form of Monaco. The Argentinean played solid match against L.Mayer and won in straight sets. That only confirmed his excellent form on clay lately. After the loss from T.De Bakker on ATP Sao Paulo Monaco lost just once and it was against in form D.Ferrer in Rio. The consistence in the game of Monaco seems to be back and he is getting better and better with every single match. He is in need of a points and he is playing at home. Cuevas is decent opponent on clay and he won the title in Sao Paulo and reached the quarter finals in Rio, where lost in close match against R.Nadal. The thing is that Cuevas often has big ups and downs during the matches and losses sets and crucial games very easily. That is why so far in the H2H Monaco is leading with 5-0 with just one set won from Cuevas. I am aware of the good form of Cuevas, but I think Monaco is in better position before this match. This is clash from the second round of ATP Acapulco. It is one of type of bets from which I could not escape. Dimitrov started the title defence with one of the most bizarre matches which I have ever saw. Dimitrov won very comfortable the first set 6-3. In the second one he has 20, yes 20 break ball chances and against the moderate serve of Krajonovic he broke just three times. The more important is that Dimitrov led 5-4 in the second set and 40-0, but managed to lose the whole set with 5-7. That speaks the Bulgarian is not sure in his shots and mentally he is vulnerable. It is true that Dimitrvo beat twice Harrison 3-0 and both matches were last year. Now Harrison is even bigger underdog than in those matches, but… the American is in excellent form with title on Noumea Challenger. After that he lost two matches, which he should won against weaker opponents – W. Odesnik and D.Novikov. From the beginning of February the American has won eight and loss just two matches, in both occasions from the champions of the event(T.Smyczek and K.Nishikori), but in those ten matches he won at least a set in all of them. Something more from his 17 matches played this year 13/4 w/l in just one occasion he did not win a set. Harrison is ball basher with huge first serve and very powerful forehand. He started from the qualifications and has nothing to lose in this match. All in all it depends from Dimitrov, but he is in modest form in my opinion and only twice in his last ten matches he did not lose a set at least(vs Klizan in Brisbane and against poor and unmotivated D.Brown on the Australian open). I think if Dimitrov is not perfect, I mean real sharp the American should be able to win a set here.

I simply could not resist to this temptation. Delbonis is very powerful player with dominating forehand. His first serve is huge too and if he has the initiative he will win his points relative easily. He is good on clay but in the moment he is in modest form and he is 3-4 w/l this year. More important is that two of those three wins were after his opponent retired. The third one was against M.Klizan in Quito, were the Slovakian simply could not take the heat literally. Lorenzi is a veteran, who is also in questionable form. Still he is 5-7 w/l this year and more important is that in his last ten matches he is 5-5 w/l and lost just twice without winning a set(vs D.-S. Schwartzman and vs F.Verdasco). Lorenzi is with record 8-12 w/l on ATP level, but on Challenger tour she is 33-28 w/l and on Futures he is 8-6 w/l. Lorenzi is 66th in the world and he is close to his best 49th. Moreover Mayer is in better shape in the last ten matches 7-3. In the same time Monaco is just 4-6 and he is far behind Mayer. In the same time Mayer retired on the bigger event in Rio on 17th this month. Mayer trashed Robert by losing just a game, but this does not speak enough for me. Monaco was the only one who won a set against Ferrer in Rio and he is leading with 1-0 in the H2H to L.Mayer. I see that Monaco improved his game lately. This match is extremely balanced. Estrella is playing the best tennis of his life. The Dominican won his first ATP title in Quito and after that he did the wisest thing and did not take a shot on big ATP500 event in Rio and napped the title on Morelos Challenger on hard courts, so he is with good match practice and in form. He is crafty on hard courts and his success is deserved. Lu is very tricky opponent. He can be very solid form the base line and his serve is ok. He spends almost all of his time on hard courts outdoors. The odds were be justified if Lu was not in such modest form. He did beat K.Anderson and S.Groth in Delray beach, but he wasn’t’ in the position of complete favorite. This year he is 5/5 w/l overall record and Estrella is 12/2 w/l. Lu is more experienced on this level and his games suits better the hard courts, but Estrella in his current form against questionable form of Lu looks like a reasonable choice. For me the best choice is handicap, because Lu can find his rhythm and eventually won, but not without Estrella winning a set.

In this match from the first round of ATP Dubai we will see in action the Tunisian number one Jaziri. He is crafty player on all surfaces and he has good serve and base lien strokes. He mixes his game with slice shots which allows him to stay in the rallies and made his opponents to work for the point. Coric is on of the biggest talents in the game. His serve is ok. His backhand is pretty good and he can go down the line or cross court. On the other hand his mentality is rather poor and when playing against non top players, like Jaziri the Croatian is rather vulnerable. He lost in three sets from modest Fabrice Martin in the last round of the qualifications. Both players have one previous meeting and Coric won 6-1;6-7;6-4. I think this match will be close and could go either way. Still I believe that backing up Jaziri to win a set is the best choice, not just because he is the higher ranked player, but the Tunisian reached the quarter finals last year and for sure will be highly motivated to win. I am not forget that Jaziri lost his last four matches without a win of set, but he is competent and experienced enough to steal a set here.
